I was talking to another, more successful writer about the art of marketing and promoting as a writer. I have always thought of myself as a private person and have never been comfortable with self-promotion. But that doesn’t help people find my books.
I hope to build a community of people who like books. Mysteries, hardboiled preferred, but almost any genre is open. Espionage, is good and nonfiction is welcome. I read a lot of military history…so if anyone is having trouble sleeping.
Hopefully this will also be a place for writers, published, not published, aspiring etcetera.
My late father said it best; “politics and religion have no place at a cocktail party”. While I respect differing views and respect peoples beliefs, this is not a forum for that.
My goal is to post a weekly blog. Sometimes short, sometimes longer. What you can expect. I might muse about writing, cooking, camping, kayaking or any number of things that I am (and hopefully you are) interested in. You might get my ramblings about something I observed or experienced. It is possible I might talk about making fresh pesto sauce and in the same blog discuss the differences between hollow points and ball ammunition. What you won’t get…my political or religious views.
